Jan 30---ONE MONTH OLD

Today mom and i watched a movie, cleaned the house, and cooked some dinner. When dad got home we ate dinner then i went to Aggie Ice Cream for my first time. That was a lot of fun!! Tomorrow my nanny is coming to hang out with me! Today i have been alive for one month!!!

Today I went to church for my first time.. I slept the whole three hours!!!! We came home and had dinner with Ashley and Scott then played games. Then Steve and Elise came over with Jude and he thought i was pretty interesting.

Today we hung out at home. Dad went to a movie with Scott so mom and i hung out and watched a movie at home. After that we went to dinner then mom and dads friend Hanna and Jaron invited us over for a movie. We came home and went to bed!

Jan 27

Today i hung out with mom. In the evening Cory and Emily babysat me while Mom and Dad went on a date to the hot springs with Aly and Tim. I was very awake when mom got home and I was ready to party! I didn't want to sleep. I stayed awake all night.

Today Mom and I dropped dad off at school then went home and watched a movie. We went to campus after that to have lunch with dad on his break from class. We came home and made some dinner. While dad went to another tutoring session mom got me to smile :)

Today I wasn't feeling too wonderful. I have a bit of a cold. Mom sat and cuddled me all day. I did enjoy my bouncy seat for a little bit but then i realized no one was holding me... After dad got home from work he had to go to a tutoring session for school. Mom's friend Maria and her friend Cassie came over and ate some yummy food. Then we watched Better Off Dead.

Today we didn't do much! I slept all day while mom did homework with Aly. i also took a nap with mom on the couch. We picked Dad up from school and had some dinner. Then we just hung out around home while i slept some more! Boring day to some...relaxing for mom.

Today Alex held me while mom worked on her homework for English. Then Mom and I cuddled and took a nap for a few hours. After that Aly came over and helped mom with her assignment then babysat me while mom went to pick dad up from work then go grocery shopping. I was an angel all day and slept. I cuddled with Mom and Dad and they caught up on their favorite TV shows :)

Mom and I hung out while dad went to church. I get to go to church next week!! I cried a lot again yesterday. Finally in the afternoon I fell asleep for mom and dad and gave them a break! Later that night the home teachers came and visited us then we went to bed!

Today Mom, Dad, and I just hung out around the house. In the afternoon we went out to lunch with Scott and Ashley at Texas Roadhouse. Later that night Maria, Casssie, Aly, Emily, Alyssa, Cory, and Tim came over. We were celebrating Alyssa's Birthday. Later that night the dogs wanted to cuddle with me and dad snagged a picture.

Today Mom and I went back to South Jordan to go to lunch for Great Grandma Masson's Birthday at Blue Lemon Bistro with Nanny and Great Aunt Judi and my cousin once removed Charlie. Nanny bought me a super cute hoody with ears :) Later that night a bunch of dad's coworkers came over and we hung out. After they left i cried some then went to sleep. I didn't sleep very well because i had really bad gas.

Today I cried all day again. Mom had a rough day. Today not much happened because i kept mom house bound. Mom called the doctor and took me back. I weighed 8lbs 5oz. The Dr. told her to up my reflux medication. He told her to go home and see if it changed! Today My auntie Isabelle drew a picture of me for her school contest. Its pretty awesome! Below is the one she drew and which picture she copied.

Today Mom and I hung out at home. I cried pretty much all day. Today Mom got one of my newborn pictures back and she was very happy. Mom thinks I am the most beautiful baby in the world! M om took me to the doctor and the doctor said that i might be allergic to milk. I weighed 8lbs when they weighed me. Dad came home and gave mom a break and we hung out on the couch most of the night while dad worked on homework.

Today mom took an impromptu trip to South Jordan. I went to Grand Dude's work and met some people mom used to work with. Then I went to Nanny and GrandDude's house and met some people from mom's homeward.. Katherine Lambourne, Becky Lundberg, and Julie Sanford. We made the treck back home and Emily and Cory babysat me so mom and dad could go on a date!

Today Mom and I hung out with Auntie Aly till dad got home from work. The Mom, Dad, and I went to Park City to hang out with the Ashton side of the family. I met my great Aunts Elizabeth and Amber and My great Uncles Shane and David.. I also met my cousin once removed. Lance (who is 3 months older than me), Jake, Dalton, Ashley, and Wade.

Today I slept again most of the day! Nana hung out with mom while dad went to church. Nana was schooling dad in Bejeweled Blitz on the Ipad while mom wrote some letters.

Jan 14

Today Nana held me while mom and dad cleaned up the house. I slept most of the day. It was Nana's last day here and since she was leaving Sunday she wanted to get lots of cuddle time in!

Jan 13--TWO WEEKS OLD

Today Nana was feeling better. Mom and I went and had breakfast with her at her hotel while daddy slept. (he was up late with me and playing video games lol) After that i had my doctors appt. I weighed 7 lbs 6 oz, I was still 20.5 Inches long. My head was 14". For Weight I am in the 20th percentile, For Height I am in the 70th percentile. Mom says im going to have Dad's skinny body. The Dr . also said i have acid reflux and I am taking Zantac, Vitamin D, and Gas Drops now to help out with it. Mom and Dad also made my bassinet have a bit of an incline to help out with all that spit up. Last night we went to Texas Roadhouse for Uncle Travis' birthday...i didn't really care much...i slept the whole time but i know Mommy and Daddy enjoyed it thoroughly. I came home and gave mom and dad a run for their money. First I peed all over the comforter while dad was changing me, then when dad set me down on the sheet while he got rid of the comforter I spit up all over the sheet, then while mom was changing me again I started choking. She lifted me up really quickly (sans diaper) so dad could stop my choking. As soon as I stopped choking I peed all over dad. This all happened in a matter of ten minutes....i am good like that. lol

Nana was sick today so i hung out with mom. I got to meet her friend Jeffrey. Jeffrey is someone she used to work with. He has down syndrome and mom thinks he is great! We went and got dad an ipad for school (it was a surprise) then we went to lunch with him on campus and Aly came down and sat with us after her class too. Later that night My mom's friend Casey Fife from work came and visited (she forgot to get a pic!!) Then we went to firehouse and hung out with Ashley and Scott!

Today I hung out with Nana again! She held me almost all day long and i slept most of the day. Mom and Dad went shopping while i hung out with her. I then was forced (lol) into a photo shoot so mom and nana could get pics of me on a quilt their friend Claudia Jensen made for me!

Today was a special day. I met my Nana Speight for the very first time! We hung out with her all day and I had fun!

Jan 9

Today was a VERY rough day. My tummy hurt so i had a tough time. I cried a lot and just wanted to be cuddled by Mom. When Dad got home we went out to dinner then mom went out with her friend Maria to get a break! Mom and Dad gave me a bath to see if that would help my tummy.

Jan 8

Today i hung out with mom and later on dad. I am not quite old enough to go to church yet. Mom and Dad watched a movie while i slept and slept and slept... I also met mom and dad's friends Jana and Brian. They brought me some cute shoes!!

Jan 7

Yesterday I met lots of people in my extended family at my mommy's cousin Griffin's birthday party. Unfortunately mommy didn't get very many pictures. My favorite part was being cuddled by Nanny and my Great Aunt Judi all night.

During the day i got my newborn pictures by Sharon Johnson. Mom snagged one of the poses with her IPhone.

After that i just hung out with Dad while mom went shopping for some new clothes. I slept the whole time!

Jan 6

Today I decided to be a perfect angel! I slept from 11pm - 5:30 am...ate some food...went back to sleep...woke up again at 9 am. I went with mom to Brigham City where she got her nails done by Tiffany. I sat there and slept the whole time. I slept all the way home. When I got home I got some newborn pics of just me taken by a lady in our ward. Auntie Alyson came along to help my mom out! After that Emily (auntie aly's sister) and her fiance Cory came over and babysat for two hours so mom and dad could go on a date. I slept the whole time for them too. It seems as if I just like to keep everyone on their toes and following whatever mood I choose to be in for the day. Tomorrow Sharon Johnson (the lady who photographed my birth story) is coming to make pictures of our whole family! Mommy is really hoping i choose to be an angel for that.

Jan 5

Today i was a bit of stinker. Luckily for mom I slept through the night really well so she had enough energy to deal with it...but most of the day i cried. Mom was worried people were going to think she was kidnapping when she took me on a walk and i screamed pretty close to the whole way. When dad got home...i decided to be an angel. I fell asleep in his arms. I slept while mom watched a show, woke up ready to eat. After eating i went to bed and slept for 6 hours straight! Mom was very appreciative. 

Jan 4

Today was a much better day. I slept wonderfully the night before and nursed on schedule and because of it my parents were much much happier and more energetic when they woke up. I took a lot of naps today. I did have to go to the doctor to retake my hearing test because i didn't pass it in the hospital and this time.....I PASSED! Mom and I came home and hung out till we had to go pick daddy up from work. Then we just hung out just us three. We watched some t.v. and ate some dinner.

Today was mommy's first day all alone with me. nanny went home yesterday and dad started work today. I did not sleep very well the night before so mommy was very tired. I also did not eat very well today either. for some reason i am not a huge fan of nursing. Auntie Aly came over and held me and gave mom a little break...i think mom was very grateful for that. Alyson got me to sleep and mom put me down in my crib around 2:30 and i slept until around 4:45. Dad got home and he held me for a bit. Then mom and dad had some friends named Brian and Heidi over and they held me for a bit. I just hung out with dad until bedtime around 9:30

I slept very well for mommy and daddy last night. they were very happy!! today i went to my first dr appt. I weigh 7 pounds exactly so i lost a couple ounces but the doctor said we didn't need to worry about it. i also got to go to campus and eat cinnamon bread with mom and dad...well at least i got to watch them eat it. Today i am being a little bit of a diva. I don't like to eat very much. I got to meet Tiffany and Brandon, Scott and Ashley, and Emily and Alyson. I am named after Alyson and i was happy to meet her. I spent the rest of the night cuddled up with daddy.
